The Adelaide Generals flexed its championship credentials with a dominant 7-1 victory over the Melbourne Glaciers while the Sun Devils defeated the Sydney Sabres 7-2 in the opening games of the 2023 Australian Junior Ice Hockey League (AJIHL) Showcase series.

It’s been 12 months since we took on the craziest project of our lives, renovating an old warehouse in Maryville into TFMG Studios. Since then, we’ve produced over 60 hockey games, consumed hundreds of coffees (or sodas for Tegan and Sam), built sets, shot music videos and tournaments - and it feels like we’re only getting started.

We’re not sure exactly what the future holds but we know it’s going to be BIG.

Women in media and women in sport are two of our great passions here at TFMG.

Of the 67 games Thought Fox is producing for Australian Ice Hockey League this season, only four are being produced without a female crew member - and that's because they're all busy crewing other simultaneous productions.

If we're looking a bit intense, it's because this past weekend was our busiest production weekend in Thought Fox history. Four simultaneous productions on each day, four producers, eight camera ops, two graphics ops, and crew all over the country.

A big pat on the back to each of our crew members, and sympathies to Michael, our primary producer, who was a bit greyer come Monday.

We are sad to not be producing the broadcasts for the upcoming Australian Women's Ice Hockey League season, but wish the league and players nothing but the best for the coming contest for the Joan McKowen trophy!

We would like to take a moment to thank Michael and the TFMG team for everything they have done for the League to bring us quality live streaming of our games for two seasons. Michael and his crew dedicated many volunteer hours and through this TFMG has helped the league become a better product for our fans in Australia and all around the world. We do appreciate it. 🙏🏻
