But who am I? Born and bred in Millicent SA, I have been a local to the Limestone Coast region of Australia, FOREVER lol. Hey, why would I move away when this region is AMAZING??!!
Born in Millicent in the awesome year of 81’, Millicent was my stomping ground until I graduated in ‘98. Then, I called Mount Gambier home when I went on to study Business Admin at TAFESA.
After study, the real world of working life had me spend the next 11 years in Penola, under the wing of the most epic, creative & super successful mentor one could ever dream of in this region. Much loves and thank-yous for forever and a day to Lynda Croser. I was so fortunate to receive an all-round, on the ground, behind the scenes, in front of scenes on-the-job education in small business. Because of the way this award winning business was structured, my skills and experience over the years stretched from admin, production co-ord, sales, marketing, desktop publishing, and so, so much more - so coming from multi-faceted small business, I am the owner of a broad skill set that has been so great to me!
Over the course of the years from 2015, I honed my advertising knowledge, utilised and further developed my marketing skills at a local magazine for 3 years. But... I knew in my heart that social media marketing was a fierce competitor to traditional marketing channels. Times were changing FAST!! I am super inquisitive so I took a deep dive into Facebook Marketing... I researched my heart out and boy oh boy, it was right up my alley and had so many opportunities that traditional marketing couldn’t meet! Please don’t hear me wrong, there is and will always be a place for traditional channels and strategies. Nothing quite beats an in-person connection and tangible content marketing (I am an avid old-school fan of magnet advertising - So if you want to be in front of my face everyday, pop a magnet in my letterbox ;).
I loved how social media marketing could complement the print media space I was in - that a print campaign could be leveraged on social media too! for that extra impact that we want our campaigns to have! I also started to create memes and really wanted to integrate social media with print media - long story short, I left the industry, took a holiday, extended my family...Now, I have brought together my experience over the course of the years, and with constant education of this ever evolving social & digital marketing space, here is Project E Creative!
I predominantly assist small business owners with brick & mortar businesses but also a variety of business models across a broad range of industries too! As I am located in the SE of SA, (as I am a local through and through - Born & Bred!), it works well as I am not far away for face to face catch ups, however, with the modern day tools of trade, I also provide social media services externally, Australia wide!
But, back to the lemons though, right?.......
This lemon was pretty juicy & an instantaneous shock to the taste-buds!! This lemon that my family & I faced in 2017, is the foundation of my why for Project E Creative....
3 weeks after the birth of my youngest son, I was called into the Drs clinic and received a bombshell diagnosis of Cystic Fibrosis for our wee Taylor. Boom. Long story short, Project E Creative was born as I made the choice not to return to my job after maternity leave and stay at home with Taylor - not utilising child care would keep the possibility of him catching bacterial infections at bay. I culminated my years of experience from the working world, my passion for learning & being of service and thus Project E Creative was, essentially, born!
Whoa, I think that covers it all! But if there is anything else you’d like to know, I offer a One time per business, free 15 minute touch-base. I also offer external 1:1 hour blocks of consult / support time for ad-hoc training, strategic planning for $60 p/h.
