From any angle, the fully restored ex-Schweppes 1926 CY Karrier certainly is a head turner, especially as it is now resplendent in its Mustard and Cress green paintwork. It is a credit to all who undertook this task.

Indicative of the quality of the truck models at this year’s Wagga Wagga and District Scale Model Club competition were these two magnificent examples, the superb Costantino Cartage Mack Super- Liner rig built by model truck supremo Ernie Hastas, and the excellent Iannellis Kenworth cab-over which was originally built many years ago by Phil Norman but was damaged and in disrepair – it was subsequently rebuilt by Ernie Hastas.
