Where do you draw the line filming content in public? 🤳
It’s grey AF area and we all have very different boundaries. I saw this video on ABC the other day, and I think this is big discussion we need to have in today’s digital world where everyone is filming everything. 👀
In my last business I filmed people in public for clients pretty consistently for 10 years. Before that I was a journalist so I feel strongly about this issue.
Here are three things I steer clear of when filming in public:
👧 Children. I never film a child without the consent of the parents. For a whole host of reasons.
🏡 Unkowing people in their private space, like their home or yard. I personally just find it creepy.
💭Filming without thinking first, using common sense and reading the room. Every situation is different and requires a level of nuanced thinking
