The Mercury Newspaper has been in overdrive deleting comments once again.

This time my comment wasn't even controversial and they deleted it anyway. Why? I can't see any reason other than to try to prevent me (Mathew Munro) from gaining a following on Facebook.

Below is the deleted comment:

'The CBD is most suited to high-density, high-public-transport-demand facilities. I'm not so sure an aged-care facility fits the bill.

Subject: Decision to refer the extension of the Urban Growth Boundary at 52 Richardsons Rd Sandford to the Minsiter for Planning

We the undersigned petition the Mayor and Alderman of the Clarence City Council to:

Reconsider the proposal to request the Minister for Planning to extend the Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) within the Southern Tasmanian Regional Land Use Strategy (STRLUS) to include the land at 52 Richardsons Road, Sandford. And prior to reconsidering the proposal Council undertake broad consultation within the Lauderdale and Sandford community to ascertain community views in relation to the proposed extension to the UGB."
