Our Story

The Little Bee Hive is a unique child care service located on Avocet Island (Halls Head Mandurah) WA Our philosophy is provide an amazing start to an amazing life, focusing on offering children a personalised child care service that is unattainable in a large centre. With 4 children per day (plus my 2), we have the time for each individual child, to grow and share some wonders of our world with them. My children aren’t included in numbers as they have their own adult each day. The Little Bee Hive has access to amazing incursion resources, that bring the fun and learning to us, which means we don't need to leave the house! This leaves more time for sandpit castle competitions, a round of mini golf or a festival of food in our mud kitchen! We use our one and only excursion to walk across the road to the park for Art in the Park or Sport in the Park, our 2 favourite activities! The Little Bee Hive is more than just a child care service, it's where your children feel at home.
