Clive Johnson OAM is the author and editor of the acclaimed and definitive reference on Australian Medals, decorations, honours and awards, titled "Australians Awarded" (Editions one & two) published by Renniks. 1777- 2015
He has written and published with the likes of National Geographic, Antiques, and Collectables quarterly for Australia, Orders and Medals Research Society quarterly, The Aust
ralian Bravery Association, The Queensland Historical Society and various other publications national and international. He is a consultant to numerous museums, organisations and jurisdictions and was a contributing author to the international reference, ‘Medal Yearbook’ (2004-2011). Clive Johnson authored the highly successful young adult fiction series Eye of Egypt,(Part one released as an eBook on Amazon in April 2016 – The Pharaoh’s Greatest Gift). Part two is scheduled for July 2016 – The Mirror Chamber. Whilst these new works are historical fiction the works are based on true historical facts which makes for an interesting read if you have a thirst for knowledge for things of our past. Clive has a Post Graduate Bachelor of Education, a Diploma of teaching, is a member of the Order of Australia, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of History and Arts (FAIHA) and Secretariat for the Cross of Valour Association of Australia. In 2011 he became an accredited valuer for the Australian Cultural Gifts Program run by the Australian Government Department of Regional Australia, Local Government, Arts and Sport. Amongst his other achievements, he has been a consultant to international representatives such as the Commissioner of Kiribati, the President of Nauru and the Prime minister of PNG for advice on policy, protocol and implementation of forms of new or reviewed recognition.
