Wow it’s been some time between chats!

👋🏻 How are you?

A lot has changed on my end, including my relocation back to vibrant Victoria 🚃

My IG has been hacked sadly… so you’ll now find me on Instagram at

That’s only the beginning of this fresh, new journey for me… and all of you!

My podcast, Behind The Music with Ellie D, has wrapped up. Four seasons is something I never dreamed possible and I am ever thankful to every guest who shared their journey with me. You can still listen back, only that there will not be new episodes on this podcast.

Soon you’ll see a change on this page.

I’ll be launching Maestro Media in 2023, as The Communication Specialist. With it, will follow a reboot of OzNow Radio plus a new podcast. It’s all secret squirrel atm but I’ll share more with you in due course.

For now, it’s me with my new notebook scribbling the foundations for my new business which I can’t wait to share x

I was recently invited to share my journey of being mum to three kids aged 2 + under on someone else’s podcast! It was so lovely to share with The Art of Being a Mum Podcast about how I balance being a mum with my passion projects supporting Aussie singer songwriters.

Remember, all of my passion projects, including OZNOW Radio are run at a cost with no income.

I’ve been doing the podcast Behind The Music with Ellie D for a variety of reasons. Unfortunately this season, due for release in June, will be the last.

You may have missed the news that I’ll be returning to Melbourne later this year to start a new chapter with my family of 5.

One thing I am super excited about, is being able to attend events like these as hosted by The Bizz with Johnno. This is a fantastic event + I encourage you to grab your ticket before the event sells out. X

eXposure is the third event that I’m running to showcase some of the local talent I’ve been lucky enough to discover via this platform Instagram!

Interviewing artists & creatives from all over the globe, especially right here in Australia. It is with pleasure that I am able to bring you another event packed with live music, special guest speakers from the entertainment industry plus it’s set in a wonderful venue.

So whether you’re a music enthusiast, an independent artist looking for advice or how to get back into the live music scene or just want advice on how to get your music out there, then this is the event for you!

It’s also an opportunity to connect with like minded creative people and extend your network. Previously the last two events have provided opportunities for artists to collaborate with each other and even get booked to support other artists on tour & perform in iconic Melbourne sports venues PLUS if you’ve been to one of these events before , then don’t expect this to be the same!

We’ve got door prizes, offers and special prizes for all that attend and we’ll soon be announcing some of our sponsors!

A new season of my podcast is officially in the making with special guests from within the Australian music community.

This will be my last season.

The industry has been hit hard by this pandemic we’ve all been challenged by. It’s therefore become more difficult to get a commitment from guests.

I’m proud of what I’ve produced these past few years. The podcast will stay online for future listeners to enjoy.

In the meantime, be sure to listen to OzNow Radio. We have more new talent to be featured plus we don’t have any ads x

It’s been a long time between drinks *read that as podcasting*.

Last year saw me literally off my feet as I was diagnosed with Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome then my waters broke at 20 weeks. Following 11.5 weeks on hospital bedrest at the Mater Mothers hospital, my baby girls arrived safely. We journeyed home after I’d spent 150 days away from home and in Brisbane.

Now that we are home, I’m back preparing for a new season of my podcast. I’m also ramping up OZNOW Radio which is my internet radio station that showcases original Australian music 24:7 with no ads.

I sincerely appreciate your patience in waiting for this next season, which I promise is a star studded line up of brilliant Aussie music artists.

For now, here’s a sneak peek at our journey home with our miracle babies.

What a way to kick start my week! Had a ton of beautiful packages awaiting me at the post office and - WOW - I am blown away at what has created for my home studio.

I wanted something that really encapsulated OZNOW Radio [yes, aside from podcasting and promoting Aussie artists on YouTube, I also head up OzNow Radio which is an internet radio station you can stream 24/7 with no ads or announcers).

It was a very straight forward process - I provided Aidan with a link to the first all Aussie playlist I created on + left it to his creative mind.

Thank you Aidan for creating this whimsically wonderful piece of art for my home studio. I can’t wait to put it on the wall!

Home is where the heart is 🏡 ❤️ also where my studio is though today I’m finding it a bit of a challenge to stay focused.

✅ headache
✅ inbox overflowing
✅ laundry on repeat

The 25 minute focus thing is NOT working for me today. I’m half way through editing a podcast episode for season three + need to hack this procrastination-slightly-distracted-by-bright-shiny-things.

This is your reminder to tune in to OZNOW Radio which launched on March 1st. As one of my passion projects, bringing this to life with the help of was a flurry of proud moments for me. To create an internet radio station that empowers indie Aussie singer songwriters, bands + producers was an incredible feat... in fact, it still is a journey.

Behind the music, I’m juggling being a full-time SAHM, producing a podcast + YouTube series, managing fresh content soon to come on my website, co-hosting rooms on Clubhouse + running this station.

Today as I noticed my little one dancing to Patient Lounge’s Places, I recognised how my actions in giving without expectation of financial reward have not only been an example to others but also within my own personal world.

My heartfelt thanks goes to every individual whom has welcomed me into their world - to collaborate, support + empower you on your journey within this Australian music community. It’s been a whirlwind of a ride but the journey continues to create opportunities for others + that’s what keeps me going.

Tuesday is looking terrific... + my to do list was looking terrifying. I’ve three passion projects that I immerse myself in everyday (though I’m making weekends a family thing). How to get through everything that needs my attention especially when I easily distracted by bright, shiny things? Today I’ve started using Notion. It’s a free tool for one user, so works perfectly for me + I can share my task lists with others I’m collaborating with.

How do you keep on top of your task list?

PS don’t be fooled into thinking I only have two tasks today. I’ve many other lists + there’s many more on this task list that I need to tackle.
