Capturing the FIRST ever Strong Men's forum in Kalkarindji late last year was a huge highlight for us.

This interview with James Parfitt-Fejo touches on some of the challenges men in community are facing and some of the topics that were covered in this forum to better help support these men.

It was a huge honour and privilege to capture these sacred moments and now share these videos with you.

These films are the ones that make a difference, and this is exactly what I love creating.

Thanks to Gurindji Aboriginal Corporation, Katherine West Health Board, Maythan, Quitaysha, and the entire Kalkarindji/Daguragu community for allowing us to come and film this experience.

I had a bucket list shoot a couple weeks ago and have to share!

Through the International Paralympic Committee I had the opportunity to fly down to Sydney and headed to the Sydney International Regatta Centre to capture interviews with some great Australian & NZ athletes in the para canoe events.

Curtis McGrath, Susan Seipel and Scott Martlew, thank you for sharing your story with me and allowing me to capture you in your sport.

I remember being a kid and watching the profile videos of our para athletes talking about their challenges, history in the sport and their achievements. To be the one capturing this footage now is such a full circle moment and a huge honour.

I can't wait to see these videos in the lead up to Paris 2024.

I said I wanted to capture more sport content in 2024, and this is a huge step in the right direction.

You best believe I’ll be sharing the videos as they are released but for now, here’s a few snapshots of what I captured.

Acrobatics? Let’s do it!

Last week we had the privilege of capturing the Bend the Air National Finals 2024 in the Gold Coast 🤸

The costuming, hair, makeup, attention to detail, and skills they all showed were incredible, especially from the young ones! As a dancer in my younger years, I can totally appreciate the strength, technique and hours they have to put in to make it to a competition of this level.

What an honour to capture these moments for all involved.

The best part? The Gala was on Sunday, so after shooting throughout the week, I jumped straight into the editing bay and turned the video around for them within 24 hours, ready to share with the attendees.

Thanks Brad, Darren & Alicia from Bend the Air, I can’t wait for the next one!

Our new video campaign for Habitability, Australia’s largest NDIS STA & Support Network, is now live and available on their website.

It has been such a huge pleasure to work with the team to capture what they do for their NDIS participants.

Of course, a huge thank you to the Q1 Resort & Spa for allowing us to film on location. Their phenomenal backdrops meant we spent more time filming and less time on set design, a win-win!

And finally, a big thanks to the team at Hydra Digital for their efforts on getting these videos up onto the brand new website.

We couldn’t have had a better team of people working on this campaign and I’m already looking forward to what’s next!

A few weeks ago we posted some of the photos from our shoot with AM2PM Group. They were constructing a 50 metre lattice tower out in Howard Springs.

We all battled the hot sun, and through their incredible attention to detail, they got the tower up in just one day.

This video is the final product of capturing everything that happened that day.

We love being part of projects like this and had such a great time with the team. LOVE how this one turned out!

In May, we worked with Breast Cancer Network Australia to film this special story from one of the Aboriginal Liaison Officers that we have in the Northern Territory.

This role is crucial in ensuring everyone in our community understands what is happening and what services are available to them throughout their cancer journey.

We are very proud to have the opportunity to capture these stories and loved working on creating resources that help the greater community.

Wanting to show off what your business is capable of?

Last weeks shoot with AM2PM Group was unique to say the least!

Watching them put together this 50 metre tower out by Howard Springs was nothing short of remarkable.

An incredible team, and the footage that has come out of this shoot is really amazing.

There were some challenging and different angles and I shot mostly with the drone.

It was a hot and dusty day, but they got it done!

Incredible to be a part of this show, and then to get to sit in the audience and watch it all unfold. Amazing work Amy, as always! Was great to have so many locals performing as well - what an awesome night!

Tonight I produced one of the biggest shows of my arts career. Secret Life of Territorians involved 28x Darwin legends who did comedy, burlesque, drag, dance and circus to a sold out crowd at the big Darwin Festival stage

I’ve been working on this show for most of the year. From pitch to recruitment to development to show. It’s been a beast. And I am so proud of everyone involved.

THE SHOT vs BTS

This shoot was hugely challenging because of so many changing factors OUTSIDE of our control.

Firstly and mainly, the sun ☀️

It doesn’t stop moving, we know this…but that means that shadows and lighting are constantly changing and we were shooting at 11 AM, in Darwin, in wet season…so it was HOT 🥵

Second, water 💦
Shooting in the water comes with safety issues, reflections, potential equipment problems and in this pool space, also not a huge amount of space for me as the DP either.

Third, the drink 🥃
Keeping a drink cool, fresh looking and exciting in Darwin without ice melting and the glass looking lukewarm is its own challenge.

And finally, talent 👩🏼
The lovely was our talent for this shoot and as you can see in the BTS shot, she’s actually standing on a chair IN the pool to give us the right angle - luckily she was a great sport, and we even avoided a sunburn here.

We’re back!

After a well-deserved break to enjoy the holiday season with our family and friends.

We spent some time in Tasmania. It was perfect. Thanks heaps to the crisp air, clean water, delectable food, and wonderfully hospitable people. 10/10 recommend!

Then we headed to Melbourne. It was so nice to be in the hustle and bustle of a vibrant city. Activating all of your senses—Melbourne is such a cool place, full of inspiration. Looking forward to our next trip here!

We are back and moving full steam ahead. We have plenty of exciting things we are working on and look forward to sharing them with you in the coming weeks and months.

In the meantime we are continuing to provide video and photography services to clients all around Australia.

We are also ramping up our workshops and training opportunities. Hopefully we’ll see you there!
