So, I watched this video from about how he has all this creative energy that became a million average unfinished projects (me to a tee) and he explained how someone told him to draw the saw thing every day for a year, he picked an ibis and drew some cool as art using an ibis, and this helped him refine his art and get direction with his creative energy...

All this to say, look at my alien with flowers sprouting out of her head, she’s cool, 364 left to go. Well, maybe, I may be more of a drawing a month kinda gal but we’ll see...

, that many people, just don't get it, and fair enough, because to be honest, hashtags are useless. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Um, huh? wot? Me no comprehende⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Just stop for a second, when was the last time, you spent your spare scrolling time just looking through hashtags for fun? EXACTLY. If, IF, you are using the perfect hashtags for your business, you will still be reaching very few legitimate customers, other brands, influencers, businesses will scroll the hashtags, but not your average every day consumer, (very few people follow hashtags currently).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Here's the tip: It is not your customer's responsibility to find you, it is your responsibility to make yourself known to them. Or as I like to put it: Put yourself in your customers line of site. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Make the most of hashtags, get on those hashtag feeds and FIND your customer. because your customer is using hashtags, they just aren't browsing them. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

For example: If your chore customer is Mums. The search up " " or " ", like and genuinely comment on photos you find, for example: "sounds like you had a crazy day! Hope the kids behave for you tomorrow". ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You are then in their line of site, and if your ideal customer is Mums, then they'll likely take a little look and follow you, and now you can turn that ideal follower, into an actual customer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Customers Vs Followers. Or as I call it, Quality over quantity, and you will see why by the end of this little (mildly educational) rambling: Favourite topic. right. here. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Let me talk to you. We have made a mistake in the world of social media, in convincing people that more followers = more success / more sales / more influence. So incorrect. The most incorrect thing to have hit Social media since Bebo the teen web-design phenom.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It makes sense, but we can not express any clearer how wrong this is. Time after time, I see accounts with huge followings, that simply do not have the right audience, and they look like they are successful, but they are struggling. Influencers, that have people following because they admire the person, but the followers are young, and not in a position to buy, so every promotion the influencer does has minimal response. Businesses, who post amazing content, and have an audience looking for inspiration, but do not care at for the product. Who are your followers? Do they match up with your target market? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Your followers and your customers, are NOT the same. Target your customer and remember, please remember, quantity does not mean quality, and quality does mean sales. Aim for Quality, always.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
