The website was established in 2009 and is owned and published by respected journalist Christine Kane. Well-respected Australian trade travel website travelmonitor.com.au and ‘First News of the Day’ industry newsletter is produced by media company, 24/7 Publishing Pty Ltd. Travel Monitor was established in 2009 by travel industry veteran, Mike Heard. Christine Kane and Lisa Monk began working as c

o-Editors of Travel Monitor in 2012, and Christine purchased the business in December that same year.Travel Monitor has a number of industry and professional journalists contributing to the site on a regular basis. Industry feedback from the Australian travel trade is that Travel Monitor delivers consistent, intellectual editorial and news that is informative yet still entertaining.
