Smiths Lake and its remote beaches make it a popular holiday destination year round. Here, the tall forest grows right down to the water with life revolving around the beach and lake.

Barrington Coast has officially achieved ECO Destination Certification through Ecotourism Australia, making us the 5th destination in NSW and the 13th in Australia to receive this prestigious recognition. 🌏✨

From the World Heritage-listed Gondwana Rainforests of Barrington Tops to the internationally significant Myall Lakes wetlands, our region is a haven for nature lovers. This certification highlights our commitment to protecting these natural wonders while creating more sustainable and immersive experiences for both locals and visitors. 🌱🏕️

A huge congratulations to MidCoast Council Barrington Coast teams, who led this initiative, along with support from Destination NSW and Destination North Coast teams.
