Embrace your emotions. ✨💚
They're the colors of your humanity. Feeling sad or angry doesn't define you; it connects you to the shared tapestry of human experience.
Lori Deschene reminds us: emotions make us beautifully, authentically human.✨

✨Self-Compassion
You are not alone. Practice self-compassion by acknowledging your pain without judgment. Treat yourself with the same kindness you would offer to a friend going through a tough time.
✨Reach Out to Loved Ones
Share your feelings with someone you trust. Opening up to friends or family members can be a powerful step in breaking the isolation often associated with self-harm.
✨Professional Help
Seeking help from mental health professionals is a crucial part of the healing process. Therapists, counselors, and psychologists are trained to provide support and guidance.
✨Helplines and Hotlines
If you're not comfortable talking to someone you know, consider reaching out to helplines or hotlines. Many organizations provide confidential and non-judgmental support.
✨Create a Safety Plan
Work with a mental health professional to develop a safety plan. This can include coping strategies, emergency contacts, and steps to take when you're struggling.
✨Express Yourself
Explore creative outlets like art, writing, or music to express your emotions. Finding healthy ways to channel your feelings can be therapeutic.
✨Mindfulness and Relaxation Techniques
Practice mindfulness and relaxation techniques to manage stress. Techniques like deep breathing, meditation, and yoga can be helpful in grounding yourself.
✨Celebrate Small Victories
Recovery is a journey, and every small step forward is a victory. Celebrate your progress, and be patient with yourself.

There was this woman living in Australia named Amandeep Kaur. She was a mom to a sweet little girl and was unfortunately dealing with lung cancer. She needed funds for her treatment.
So, she started raising money for her treatment, on gofundme and other helping sites with the help of her friends, family, and even some kind strangers who pitched in.
She was living with her husband, Prabjot Singh, who worked as a cab driver in Australia, and had access to all her accounts. Instead of using the funds for her treatment there, he suggested they go to India for medical care. Trusting him, the mom and her daughter made the journey to India.
But what happened next is just heartbreaking. The husband, who had control over their finances, decided to take all the money. He wouldn't give it back, leaving his wife and daughter in the middle of their sufferings.
Recent news sadly reports that the lady in the video passed away last month.
Silence is the shield that perpetuates the cycle of abuse. When we turn a blind eye to the suffering of others, we become complicit in their pain. This video is a reminder of the emotional and financial abuse that festers behind closed doors in far too many lives. It's time to shift from sympathy to action. We must courageously open a dialogue about these issues, not for our sake but for the countless unheard voices out there. We must become their advocates, empowering them to reclaim their voices and end the cycle of abuse. It begins with us speaking up.
