Have you seen last week’s video with prep work for the first interior spray painting session? The plan is to get the first three rooms ready for top coat! There’s a lot of sanding, spot filling, cleaning, wiping and masking in order to enjoy the fruit of our labour later on!

Hello everyone! We created this page (rather than a Fb account) to be able to communicate better with you, our family, friends and also with Wilda followers, people whom we might have not yet met, but who may be interested in the progress we are making on Building Wilda and getting her into the water.

We will share our updates and all things boat related here, along with our Youtube channel, website and Instagram account.

The first photo below is from Dec 2019, when Axel got Wilda. She looked a bit dusty and she was covered in bird s**t. A lot has happened between then and now. And yet not enough :)
Now, in Feb 2023 (2 and a half years of pandemic and life later, after a couple of flights between Europe and Australia and some fiberglassing and boat work completed) she looks a bit different. We wish we could have done more, but who could have included covid in their plans?

We are now back in Australia and documenting the progress on Wilda, hoping to get her in the water as soon as we can.
