Let’s get your story out there!

Big boat.. small boat.
It’s golf, just mini! ⛳️
A fun little shoot for the new Shanx mini golf at Pacific Harbour Golf and Country Club.
Amongst the ups and downs of 2021, I’ve found a lot of positives in learning more about photography.
Soooo.. here are my favourite photos from the past year.
Here’s to a great 2022!!
1. Bribie Island sunset
2. Lunar eclipse over Q1
3. Noosa
4. Byron Bay Lighthouse
5. Pacific Golf Club
6. Brisbane CBD
7. Surf at Point Lookout
8. Fog over the suburbs of Brisbane
9. The Gabba
10. Brisbane Golf Club
It’s been a while, but it was great to get the drone back in the air!
This time at Lakelands Golf Club nestled in the heart of the Gold Coast. It was the first Australian course designed by the one and only Jack Nicklaus.. and it’s a beautiful track!
My favourite hole.. the 14th.. a beautiful par 3 where you hit across a lake a tricking waterfall (2nd pic here). No surprises it’s the signature hole!
As the rain cleared..
Four seasons in one day at Royal Queensland Golf Club. ⛈☀️
Blue skies over the brown snake. 🐍
Super excited to see the new website for Pacific Harbour Golf and Country Club, featuring our flyovers, and a few photos!

Now to get back for a hit! ⛳️
Just excuse me while my mind wanders back to surfing these crystal clear waters last weekend… 🏄♂️
Our old fella Pav getting back in front of the camera. 🎥
Thanks Zoomies for helping him get around in his old age! 💨
The Olympics are coming to Brisbane!
I can’t wait to see the worlds best battling it out at my home track, Royal Queensland Golf Club! ⛳️
I do love a good Bribie Island sunset! 😍
Gee the grass at Keperra Country Golf Club is loving this Winter rain! 🌧
New lens, who ‘dis? 📸
The flight path at Royal Queensland Golf Club means that I can’t get the drone up, so it’s time to work on the ground based photography!
Testing out the Panasonic Leica 8-18mm for some wide angle shots. This time paired with the old LUMIX G7 for portability.
Not great lighting, but pretty happy with the results for a first go.
Just don’t ask about the golf! 🏌️♂️
Back up to Noosa Springs for the first time in a while.
Grey skies, but the course still looks amazing!
Victoria Park Golf Club has long had a special place in my heart.
Firstly, I got married there (I figured I should put that first to keep the peace with my wife! 😊), but it was also shared many rounds here with my Dad when I first moved to Brisbane years ago.
I’ve spent countless hours at the driving range, and may have had a few sneaky beers at the restaurant too.
Sadly the golf course is closing at the end of the month (the range and function centre will remain), so I headed down for one last hit.
The course was in the best condition I’ve ever seen, and looked a picture nestled in next to the Brisbane CBD.
As you can see here, there are some great quirky holes with some impressive views of the city. My favourite, the short dogleg par 4 5th (4th image here). ⛳️
What’s left of North Lakes Golf Course… 😢
Once rated in the Australian top 100, North Lakes closed a couple of years ago to make way for a retirement village and public parkland.
Since then the space has gone to waste waiting for the new development.
Pictured here.. the old 7th, 8th and 2nd holes, with a couple of corresponding snaps back in the glory days for comparison.
I’ll stay away from the politics of it all, but having enjoyed many rounds at this once great course, it’s sad to return and see it in this state, and the land not being used.
It was a lot of driving, but we were lucky enough to find snow last week. ❄️
This shot shows St Patrick’s Catholic Church in Ben Lomond NSW with snow covered peaks in the background. It got a lot heavier shortly after this pic was taken.
I was lucky enough to get this pic, and some separate vision, from a guy that had also travelled down from Queensland. We quickly talked drones, and he was happy to share the vision.
Cape Byron lighthouse and Julian rocks… iconic landmarks of Byron Bay.
I was lucky enough to do my open water dive course at Julian Rocks a few years ago.
We were only a metre or two from Grey Nurse sharks sheltering on the lee side of the rocks, and could even hear migrating whale songs under the water!
Just one of many reasons why I love this little town.
Getting to know the locals at Keperra Country Golf Club.
First light over the Rainbow-Bay Surfclub. 🙌
Beautiful Pacific Harbour Golf Club under the watchful gaze of the Glasshouse Mountains. ⛳️⛰
Crisp Autumn mornings at Keperra Country Golf Club.
As the shadows draw longer over Pacific Golf Club - Carindale. ⛳️
Sunlight guiding the way on the 7th hole at Royal Queensland Golf Club. ⛳️
The beautiful 15th hole at Keperra Country Golf Club. ⛳️
Those Winter sunsets.. 😍
