We are very excited to be collaborating with Asphyxia on a screen adaptation of her novel Future Girl!

“I have never even seen a movie in my own language, Auslan, which is poetically beautiful and expressive and begging to shine on the big screen. At last, in Future Girl, it will.”

Orange Entertainment Co. has optioned Asphyxia's YA novel 'Future Girl', which explores what it means to come of age as a Deaf teenager against the backdrop of a near-future Melbourne facing environmental catastrophe.

We are devastated by the news of MIFF being forced to cancel their cinema screenings this year - especially after being so nimble, postponing a week, looking at the most covid-safe venues, and doing everything they possibly could in order to give Melbourne its favourite festival experience.

Luckily there is still MIFFPlay, and we're stoked that a short film we supported, FINDING JEDDA, is screening as part of the Australian Shorts Package.

Written & Directed by Tanith Glynn-Maloney, co produced by Tanith, us, and Unless Pictures, and financed by NITV, Screen Australia, and Screen Territory.

Lindy Chamberlain: The True Story premieres this Sunday & Monday on Channel 10 at 7:30pm. We were very excited to play a part in this deeper exploration into the Chamberlain family tragedy. Directed by Mark Joffe, written by Francine Finnane, and narrated by Sam Neill, this is a timely reminder of the witch hunt that Lindy was subject to - as a mother, and as a woman.

This incredible docu-series was produced by Easy Tiger Tv, Empress, alongside Orange Entertainment Co with financial support from Screen Australia, Screen NSW & Screen Queensland.
