Making my Perfect Date Dress. I have lots of dresses in my wardrobe that I like certain parts of but none that are perfect so I decided to clone parts of them to create my ultimate dress. I will then be able to use this pattern to make a few dresses in different fabrics. I’m doing a V neck, high waist, flutter sleeve and drill at the bottom. Stay tuned for part 2 where I make the dress and you can see how it looks. Cross your fingers that it works 🤞(and that the date goes well enough for a 3rd date 😉).

Just went to a great Try A Trade workshop for women (and those who identify as non male) to get some hands on experience in both carpentry and car mechanics. Perfect for anyone who has never picked up a tool or never looked under the bonnet of their car. The @women.onsite team is an amazing resource to help women either get in to the trades, or assist in journey as a tradie. They can help you know what you should be paid, find you government assistance, find apprenticeships and change jobs if you’re not happy amongst many other things.
