There becomes a time where life is more important than gaming. For a long time, gaming has been a massive part of my life. As early as the PS1 and Nintendo 64. My gaming life gave me so many great things like sharing moments with family and friends and grinding thousands of hours of gameplay while playing by myself or sharing the experiences while streaming on twitch. All that, I knew one day would come to an end and today is that day.

If you have me on instagram, you would know that my gaming account has now become my real life account. This is the last time I’ll ever post as SplashyWindow92 and I will miss every single one of you that knew me as that person. I’ll never forget the amazing moments I shared with each of you whether it was for 5minutes or even for the past 5years I went under the name SplashyWindow92.

After this post, my PlayStation 5, PlayStation Portable, Xbox X and my Nintendo Switch would have gone to better homes so that they can share the great memories I’ve been so privileged to have with not only myself but with my friends, family and anyone who watch me on twitch.

Guys….. it’s been a honour and a privilege to entertain you and to get to know you either on a personal level or just as a teammate.

Yesterday, not only was it Australia Day but for the 8th time in a series I absolutely love and adore was one of the coolest moments as a gamer. Getting the opportunity by to come on his YouTube channel and unbox Tekken 8 was an awesome experience.
I know what I’ll be doing for the next few weeks and with that

One of the saddest moments of my gaming life.

This game can definitely play with the emotions and it came to that today live on stream.

Butler’s Truth was the first horse I got when I started playing Phar Lap Race Horse Challenge and instantly fell in love with her. 15 career wins with 3 second place finishes and 1 third placed finish. She was heading to greatness as we max her potential very early on. Other horses would come and go but we held on to her for as long as we could. Until the hardest decision came to reality when we sadly said goodbye to our beloved horse this afternoon.

Here is that moment for you. Grab ur tissue box cause for me, it was like saying goodbye to family member

Due to some unfortunate server issues on with Manufactures Cup, we have cancelled the rest of todays stream. We did though do a 1hr endurance at Bathurst.

We won’t be attending manufacturers cup next week but we will be back the week after that.

It’s that time again to get the simulator out.

That’s right. Manufactures Cup round 2 is on the 30/9 and with that announcement comes another two.
First is…. It’s time to stream again on Twitch.

Second. My time at McLaren was not only exciting but very challenging. It was a pleasure driving for McLaren but now a new challenge and chapter has begun.
WE HAVE SIGNED WITH VOLKSWAGEN.
With that comes our new livery for the season.

Can’t wait to get behind the wheel for round 2 at Dragon Trail.

So at the end of the Toyota Gazoo Racing GT Cup season, this was my ranking after 7 rounds (only raced 4 rounds)

Very proud of my efforts. Some races were a lot more challenging than others but it was a great experience for my first competitive run.

Well we did it. Can finally say I’ve done the Bathurst 1000 and won.

Won by only 4.3 seconds
Race took 5hrs 46mins 33sec.

Until next time bathurst 😂😂 hahaha maybe.

So that wasn’t a good day of racing.

After race 2 I was starting to have problems with my knees which was causing me to accelerate and brake into the braking zones. I finally had enough after I span out while fighting for the lead with 3 laps remaining on my last race of the day.

Between now and the 27/8 which is round 7, I’ll be getting both knees looked at so this sort stuff never happens again.

My mistake. Todays round 6 races at grand valley don’t start until 11am. So stream will be starting at 10:50am AEST instead of 10am. That’s enough time to run to the shops and grab some popcorn 😂

May not be anything to anyone else and to some this is just a graph, but for me this is a massive achievement and accomplishment for not only me personally but for the channel. Couldn’t thank everyone enough for that moment. Thanks to Hainesy and the crew for popping in and showing some love.

Well what a roller coaster of a day and a exciting and exhausting one at that.

We did 6 races today and all of them different, difficult and fun as well.

Results.
Race 1 - qualified 8th, finished 7th
Race 2 - qualified 2nd, finished 1st
Race 3 - qualified 1st, finished 1st
Race 4 - qualified 2nd, finished 4th
Race 5 - qualified 3rd, finished 4th
Race 6 - qualified 2nd, finished 5th.

A new personal best for the stream as well with 22 people watching after a raid. So thank you everyone to everyone for sticking around for 6 1/2 hours today to watch the stream.
Appreciate everyone and everything y’all do for the stream.

ANNOUNCEMENT TIME….

BREAKING NEWS 🚨🚨🚨🚨

Your boy SplashyWindow92 Shane Michael Shaun Butler is officially an Gran Turismo Esports driver.

It’s been a absolute pleasure be able to race for fun and now we have turned it up a notch, we are going pro. It’s been a long hard grind and that hard work finally paid off. This is a huge opportunity for myself to be able to show my skills behind the virtual world of racing. At age 30 the dream was dead of racing actual cars, but now we are now in that line of potentially doing it one day in the future… even for a day. But in the mean time, streaming will be increasing especially on the weekends cause one of the requirements is to broadcast to not only streaming services but to the FIA directly as well.

And……. If i perform, I could POSSIBLY go to worlds and represent Australia in Sydney, London, Dubai, Toykyo and wherever else they send us.
