Unfortunately we have had to make the hard decision to cancel The Panda Room Big Night Out gig tomorrow 16th Dec. Although the venue can handle a decent amount of rain, the BOM have predicted up to 4 x the amount of rain as today for tomorrow, and with the ground already drenched from Cyclone Jasper, we think it is in the best interests for the safety and comfort of our patrons and bands to reschedule the event with as many of the same bands as possible for early 2024. Also, due to power loss from Cyclone, Trev has had to throw away all the food he had in his freezers and has yet to restock, Also, and a lot of the Panda Room infrastructure had to be dismantled for the cyclone and putting it back together in the rain would be very difficult. There are also challenges with some of the band members not being able to get down from Tablelands and flights back from Brisbane. Everyone that has purchased tickets through Trybooking will be refunded via trybooking. Apologies, to patrons and bands for the inconvenience, but we want the best live music experience for everyone and don't feel it could be delivered in current circumstances. Panda Room will be back stronger than ever in 2024 (and with more in house seating, yay!) Please follow the Panda Room FB Page for updates on when we reschedule the show.

Unfortunately, The Joker Pokers have had to cancel Sat nights set at The Panda Room due to Frasers mum being gravely Ill and him having to jump on a flight to be with her. Our thoughts are with him. But on a brighter note.. Award winning songstress Katie Jay will be playing their set with Cameron Ferguson from The Code on drums/percussion!

The Panda studio just got a "Whole Lotta Love" recently with the addition of a Supro Black Magick Reverb combo amp, similar to the one use by mr Page on the first 2 Zep albums. Very versatile and records beautifully! Seems to prefer single coil pickups, but capable of anything from classic early Zep grind to noirish spaghetti western soundscapes that would put most fenders to shame. It's valve driven vibrato and reverb are super lush!

Just had these legends in the Panda studio for a recording session!

WE have some exciting news for you……..!!!

Deep North were in the studio on the weekend, and we got some original sounds laid down!

Our first time together with the red-light fever brewing.

A huge shoutout to Pandamonium Records and Todd Macalpine - Music for providing the space and manning the production suite, it was a pleasure to be working with his professional hands and skills on the tools.

Also, massive gratitude going out to Thomas Lowth and Astralvid for being a saviour and guardian Angel with his cinematic production presence….

We are looking forward to playing some gigs over the coming months, and can’t wait to share what we’ve been cooking up for you.

Forest played an awesome set of post screamo proggyness. Sam channeled the spirit of Liberace with his cute AF Helix Pedal, but still somehow managed to play a kick arse set anyway! Remember kids, if it ain't an amp, it ain't an amp..
