I know it's hard to believe but it is that time of year again! We start preparing our famous Traditional Christmas Puddings using my 106 year old Grandmothers Recipe. They have been wildly popular so we are taking pre-orders now and can deliver anywhere in Australia! They are $42 pick up or $15 delivery. Today I’m showing you my best recipe for OAT & TREACLE TART. This is an old-fashioned recipe that you won’t see very often but you really need to make this easy recipe. It is so delicious and comforting. This is certainly one of my favourite comfort food recipes.
INGREDIENTS:
Base
• 400g Plain flour
• 300g Soft butter
• 20g Oats
Filling
• 150g Almonds
• 60g Brown sugar
• 125g Butter
• 125ml Syrup or Treacle
• 20g Coconut
• 2 Eggs
• 40g Plain flour
