A huge shout out to Sydney based “Howell Elite Actor’ Daisy Alexis for her outstanding performance in the play; Mrs Warren’s Profession - Pavilion Theatre - Castle Hill

Daniel Conway’s review says it all;

Vivie, played by Daisy Alexis.

“ Vivie is quick, fierce and intensely moral, a combination that could easily be one-dimensional if played incorrectly. Daisy Alexis adds so much depth and warmth to her portrayal. The scenes shared by Searle and Alexis are the highlights of the show in my opinion and allow both actresses to show their talent.

Alexis shows warmth and care as she gives her mother the grace and understanding of her choices at the end of Act Two, contrasted beautifully with the wounded anger and a changing rougher inflection of Searle in the concluding scene. These women created fully realised characters and shone on stage “.

Our Sydney- based talent, Lana Filies, has been cast in a Sydney Fringe Show. Congratulations Lana!

The Sydney Fringe Festival is the largest independent arts festival in NSW - if you’re in Sydney, you should definitely check it out. Lana’s show will be on during 10-14th of September.

A HUGE congratulations to Lucy Bowyer for her role in the Tina Turner Musical playing Young Anna-Mae. The Howell Team had the privilege of watching Lucy perform last night, in her home state, at 🩷

Lucy’s talent and passion created such an amazing atmosphere on stage. We are so proud of you Lucy!

A huge shoutout to Gold Coast based performer Danielle Gibson on receiving callbacks for multiple musical theatre productions this month!

Danielle has had a huge few weeks flying to Melbourne and Sydney for auditions and now she’s up to callbacks and finals for some of Australia’s major upcoming productions!

Well done Danielle, we are so proud of you and can’t wait to see what’s next for you 🩷

A massive congratulations to Melbourne based actor Rachel Edmonds on landing the role of Ani in Melbourne Theatre Company's 'Cost of Living'.

Rachel Edmonds is a non-binary actor and theatre maker with a disability from Melbourne. Rachel completed a three year Advance Diploma in Acting with The National Theatre Drama School in 2016 and has since worked mostly in theatre as an actor, director, and producer.

Cost of Living will be playing from 14th September - 19th October 2024 at Southbank Theatre, The Sumner.

Howell Elite Actor Dianne Weller wows audiences in Ruth Fingrets play ASYLUM !

Dianne leads a stellar cast in this play that has received outstanding reviews !!

Dianne Weller brings a brittle vulnerable quality to her character Vicki, imbued with a sense of volatility. Her performance was unsettling at times. Demonstrating an educated understanding of how mania can manifest and impact relationships.
Set in contemporary Australia, Asylum follows the story of a Lebanese man seeking refuge in Australia for his family. Ruth Fingret’s Asylum explores ideas of freedom and oppression through the lens of statelessness and highlights our nations’ obsession with placing blame on the other, instead of looking into our own backyard and addressing what’s happening under our noses.

Congratulations and well done Dianne Weller !!!

"Asylum" is playing at The Hellenic Arts Theatre in Marrickville until the 12th May!

We would like to welcome TYSON BROWN to our team as the new Theatre Division Manager.

Tyson has been involved in the entertainment industry for the past 10 years. Starting at a young age in theatre at Port Noarlunga (South Australia). 🎭

He continued to pursue his passion for theatre and acting and landed his first gig on 'The Water Diviner' which led him to fall in love with the industry. He knew then, this was where he was meant to be. At the age of 19, Tyson made the decision to pack his bags and move to the Gold Coast to pursue his career in the industry!

Signing with Howell Management and being an actor on our books since the beginning, Tyson has had a very successful career with the guidance of the Howell team. After many acting, extra, stunt training, stand in and location PA jobs on set, Tyson is ready to take the next step to help others reach their dreams and passions in the Theatre industry. ⭐️
