Today on Able Radio, Brayden will be on hand to host the first 30 minutes of the show and to deliver his weather report. The Windarring crew will join the conversation to discuss all things related to their week, play some favourite tunes and to bring you this round's footy tips.

Elizabeth Scanlon spoke with Carolyn Neilson of the My Home Network and with Alistar Robertson from West End Resilience, about what renters can do to make it possible to heat and cool homes which are up to 75% below energy efficiency standards, according to estimates. Alistar tells us about the group he represents and the effects of grassroots cohesion on the political landscape while Kaz elaborates on the actions of the MHN and what change might look like in the political landscape.

In part one of the conversation, I ask Kaz and Alistar about what renters can do to make their difficult spaces into welcoming places.

In part two, we explore the actions of the My Home Network aimed at making meaningful inroads into addressing the social crisis facing the country. Alistar talks about some of the ways renters can draught-proof their living spaces and the broader implications of doing small things that amount to bigger things.

In the final part, Alistar takes us to a Victorian town where they aren’t waiting for the government to respond while Kaz talks about how governments can respond.

Stay tuned from 1pm till 3pm for all the action.
