In Queensland, the government's talks with teachers' unions over pay have failed.

8% ஊதிய உயர்வு வழங்க அரசு முன்வந்த நிலையில், 67% ஆசிரியர்கள் இந்த ஊதிய உயர்வு போதுமானதாக இல்லை என்று தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.

While the government has offered an 8% pay rise, 67% of teachers say the pay rise is not enough.

அமேசான் நிறுவனத்தில் பணிபுரியும் 14,000 ஊழியர்களை பணி நீக்கம் செய்வதாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. பணி நீக்கம் செய்யப்படும் ஊழியர்களுக்கு 3 மாதம் அவகாசம் வழங்கப்படும் என்று அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

Over 230,000 students in Colombo district addicted to drug

இலங்கை தலைநகர் கொழும்புவில் 2,30,980 மாணவர்கள் போதை பழக்கத்துக்கு அடிமையாகியுள்ளதாக காவல் ஆணையர் Jagath Weerasinghe தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

Police Commissioner Jagath Weerasinghe has said that 2,30,980 students in the Sri Lankan capital Colombo are addicted to drugs.

5 வயதுக்குட்பட்ட 42 குழந்தைகள் இலங்கை சிறையில் உள்ளதாகவும் இலங்கை அரசு தெரிவித்துள்ளது. இக்குழந்தைகளின் தாய்மார்கள் பல்வேறு குற்றச்செயல்களில் தண்டனை பெற்று வருகின்றனர்.

The Sri Lankan government has also said that 42 children under the age of 5 are in Sri Lankan prisons. The mothers of these children are serving sentences for various crimes.

சிட்னி நகரில் புதிதாக கட்டப்படும் அலுவலகங்கள், ஹோட்டல்கள், அடுக்குமாடி குடியிருப்புகளில் இயற்கை எரிவாயு அடுப்புகளை பயன்படுத்த தடை விதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

The use of natural gas stoves in newly built offices, hotels and apartments in Sydney has been banned.

ஜனவரி 1, 2027 முதல் இந்த விதிகள் அமலுக்கு வரும் என்று சிட்னி நகர நிர்வாகம் அறிவித்துள்ளது. ஏற்கனவே கட்டப்பட்ட குடியிருப்புகளுக்கு இந்த விதிகள் பொருந்தாது.

The Sydney City Government has announced that these rules will come into effect from January 1, 2027. These rules will not apply to already built apartments.

இயற்கை எரிவாயுவை அதிகம் பயன்படுத்துவதால் ஏற்படும் சுற்றுச்சூழல் பாதிப்பை தடுக்கவும், பசுமை ஆற்றலை அதிகம் பயன்படுத்துவதை ஊக்குவிக்கவும் இந்த அதிரடி முடிவு எடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
