Submissions are now open for the next season of the Grit ‘n’ Grime Genre Film Festival! We’ve already had a number of great films roll in, so if you’d like to have your short film screened at our next event, make sure to submit it to us via FilmFreeway for your chance to be part of the official lineup!

This sci-fi film takes a look into the very near future and the dangers of technology. The concept was so unique and well executed with some fantastic sound design that really puts you in the headspace of the lead character.

Your first look at 'Afterlife'.

This student film impressed us with really creative camera and editing work as well as a thought provoking premise. The 'bedsheet over the head' ghost look is one that could have easily looked cheap but it was done in such a charming way it was hard not to love this short.
