You can repeatedly post promotional content encouraging your audience to buy your product/service and you might get a few organic conversions here and there, but without value, without trust, without some type of relationship with them, most of the time all you’ll do is cause your audience to tune out your posts - lowering your engagement and stunting your growth 🙈 after all…
…people come to social media to have fun, to look for inspiration or education and to ENJOY themselves💡Keep this in mind when creating your content. So let me very quickly break down the above 👆🏼 below👇🏼
Entertaining content is highly shareable and easily digestible, making it perfect for increasing your reach and your follower potential. (There’s more to this but I’ll keep it simple)
Educational content helps build trust (vital for sales funnel) with the followers you’ve brought in with your entertaining/shareable content. Educational is also highly saveable which helps with your engagement, so double win. I broke this content type down a little more in my last post.
Promotional content helps you convert your followers to clients/customers. This is a vital content type but as mentioned we don’t want to focus ONLY on promotional content.
