After its cancellation in 2020, the 23rd Sydney Writers' Festival was a joyous return, attracting large and delighted audiences to its Carriageworks home.

More than 65,000 people engaged with the program, embracing 231 live events featuring more than 400 Australian-based speakers.

"The 2021 Festival marked the fourth-highest paid attendance in the history of the Festival and brought in ticket revenue of more than $1.2 million," said Brooke Webb, Acting CEO of Sydney Writers' Festival.

Over 8,800 free tickets were issued across the Festival's 36 free events, maintaining the Festival's ongoing commitment to have 25% of the program accessible to all.

The wait for the 2021 Sydney Royal Easter Show was a long one but well worth it; now, Australia largest festival is back at Olympic park for its 23rd year. This year more than ever, regional communities have needed encouragement and understanding. After being cancelled last year due to covid, the event is back, providing an opportunity for farmers and merchants to generate direct sales, boost brand awareness, and showcase products and services to the country's largest audience. Over 400 exhibitors are spread over the pavilions and the grounds for 12 full days. How many show bags can you carry?
