Well didn’t we have the ride of our life on Friday at Gazzanats NT!!
Fifty was supposed to behave and do a cruisey lap with a couple of other cars to open the show, well things didn’t quite go to plan.
The accelerator got jammed open at full throttle and within seconds we found ourselves aling for the ride that Fifty decided we were going to have.
Rowdy put the big girl into a spin to try and slow her down, and on the second spin put her up against the wall on the drivers side.
It happened fast and thank you to my amazing husband for for his fast thinking and putting himself in harms way before me.
Fifty ended up with some flat panels on the drivers side, and we ended up with alot of bruises.
All I can say is thank you Black Magic Race Cars for building a brilliant roll cage which kept us safe. If not for that I think things would have ended MUCH worse.
Thank you to everyone’s kind messages of support and checking in on us, our burnout family are truely amazing and supportive❤️

Finally the big girl Fifty is getting dusted off after a looooong break and a few tweeks have been happening.
Getting excited to be going to Darwin Gazzanats 19th August 2022. It is one huge horsepower event that is bloody brilliant, be sure to get to the event if you can, you won’t regret it👌👌

So after been parked up for a while due to work commitments, we had the opportunity to take the big girl out on the pad at West Coast Nats.
WOW what a brilliant show, thanks to Flinty, Chris,Red and crew for giving all the burnout people a great weekend of skids and entertainment.
Fifty came home with the Promoters Choice trophy 🏆 👌👍
We got to have a couple of test runs in the Snake Pit and most importantly, we had a gender reveal for a mini Mantach in the making. Congratulations Kye Mantach and Camilla Homan on your little princess❤️❤️❤️🎀

So after a nice little test skid yesterday to test the brake and steering changes in Fifty, Rowdy is not 100% happy with a couple of little things. So we have decided not to bring the big girl to Motorvation. Pretty disappointed but hopefully we will have things sorted soon.
Meanwhile Alcotraz is has been dragged out the shed and dusted off for fun duties at Motorvation.

So with the busy harvest season upon us, Fifty will be taking a little siesta until the New Year.
