Music LINK WA The online venue for all things WA Music Originally starting as a podcast called Canary Radio WA in November 2013, with brother and sister duo Adam and Bec.

Adam being an ex-muso, playing in multiple bands throughout the Perth scene, and Bec a lover of all things music. After almost 2 years as the co-host for Canary Radio WA, Bec left the show to pursue her dream career which left Adam flying solo for a few months before a new co-host was found. That co-host came in the form of lifelong friend and fellow ex-muso Brad. Adam and Brad had performed in a

number of bands, both together and individually, throughout the years, but both share an equal amount of enthusiasm and love of the local music scene. With aspirations of becoming much more than just a podcast, Brad and Adam threw around some ideas of where to go in the future. That next step was to bring together all the disjointed areas of the music scene and make it all easy to find and discover. From there, they co-founded Music LINK WA. Music LINK WA has quickly gone on to become a fully-fledged platform promoting unsigned and independent musicians, venues and other services from right round Western Australia. Every week the show Unsigned WA is released to give you just a taste of what Western Australia has to offer. This is a labour of love. Something that we’re very passionate about and excited to see grow and positively impact the music scene that we were once proud to be part of. The Local Independent Network for WA Music has something for everyone. We aim to provide great exposure to local, independent music artists, the venues and businesses that support our great local music scene. We achieve this in our unique music podcasts, interviews, reviews, resource links and more … making this the online venue for WA Music.

Our Story
