A large superload has departed from Port of Melbourne and will arrive at the Loy Yang Power Station in the Latrobe Valley this week, with delays expected for motorists.
The oversized vehicle, about 125m long and 6.5m wide, is transporting a generator and will travel at an average speed of 25km/h.
The vehicle will stop at four different locations in Victoria's southeast.
Road users have been advised to seek alternative routes while the oversized vehicle is passing through with the attachment.
The superload's journey:
- FEBRUARY 3: The departure started at 10pm from Port of Melbourne to arrive at a location in Clayton South.
- FEBRUARY 4: The oversized vehicle will depart from Clayton South at 11pm, to arrive at a park up location in Berwick.
-FEBRUARY 5: Departing from Berwick location at 11pm, to arrive at a park up location in Yarragon.
-FEBRUARY 6: Departing from Yarragon location at 11pm, arriving to the final destination Loy Yang Power Station.
