The Barn is a recording studio based in the Lockyer Valley, within one hours drive west of Brisbane. Situated on a 7-acre, former dairy farm, the Barn provides a beautifully crafted recording space, filled with natural light, in a peaceful rural setting, conducive to creativity. The studio has been converted with meticulous planning to retain it's original character, preserving the iron and split

log walls, with double insulation and extensive acoustic treatment. The Barn is large enough to live track a large band, with plenty of space for separation. The studio also offers a large isolation room big enough for a drum kit. Self-contained cottage accommodation is also available on request. Equipment at The Barn features:

Late 60's Studer Tape Machine. A selection of mic-pres from the 60's to now.
12 headphone channels. Mics from Neumann, Electrovoice, Rode, Miktek, Octava, Nakamichi and more. The most important thing about this studio is vibe. Record your band in a country barn, with self-contained cottage accommodation beside.
