Wow, what a whirlwind the past couple of days have been! I had an amazing time in Sydney for the publication day of Life Camera Action. There were so many interviews, including one with the today show !
I can’t thank everyone enough for the enthusiasm and support surrounding this release. All the messages of encouragement online and the incredible people I’ve met over the last two days have left me feeling so grateful!
None of this would have been possible without the support of @simonschusterau The entire team has been an absolute dream to work with!
I’m excited for what’s to come and can’t wait to keep sharing this journey with all of you. Stay tuned for more updates, and thank you again for being a part of this special moment!
10 yrs in the making, Was the shot at the end worth it ?
I have visited this location many times in the past in fact one of my first solo photography missions was down the great ocean road. Back then I would have to fly from Cairns to Melbourne on my days off , then make the 3hr drive down the coast hoping for good light but every time I visited the weather just wasn’t right . I wanted the perfect sky to complement this coast line but just never got it …. Until now
There is definitely an element of luck when it comes to getting the perfect conditions and you can nail it on the first visit but what happens if you don’t ? For me that feeling that I missed the shot just burns inside me . I don’t just forget about it and think "oh well ", it’s something that lingers in my mind and It becomes a mission to return to get the shot , in this case 10 years in the making.
This is what is all about though , living passionately and with purpose. I dedicating my life to capturing these moments and it’s a never ending journey because as soon as I get the shot I’m off to find the next moment that will leave me speechless.

Just your average morning 😅 This is proof that not all photo missions are successful ! Yes I got up at 3am to be here And yes All my shots were blurry from this day because of the wind vibrations in the tripod.. Still loved it though
I finally resurrected my film camera and isn’t it beautiful !
My Linhof 617 and I bought it when I was 22 but it has been in the cupboard for a few years now . recently I bought some new film for it so I’m going to sharpen up the skills and use it more. I just love the hands on approach to this camera , everything is manual and if you make a mistake it costs you money so you learn to pay close attention to your settings as well as what’s happening in the landscape you learn to wait for the perfect time to press the shutter.
I feel like an actual photographer when using this rig , I enjoy not getting Instant feedback from a screen , it’s just a great way to slow down and come back to basics. I won’t be seeing the results from this shoot for a little while yet.

Traveling inland is when you really experience Australia. Mungo National Park has a unique landscape, unlike anything I’ve seen. While some say it looks like the moon, to me, it’s just home – Australia, a place full of ancient history. It’s these hidden, remote areas that inspire me the most. The farther off the beaten path I go, the deeper my connection to this country feels.

Twilight ✨ that special time of the night where you get the perfect balance of soft light that’s perfect for landscape photography. I found myself once again at camel rock on the NSW south coast taking in all this natural beauty through my lens. #landscapephotography #australianphotographer #twilight
Still sifting through Uluru footage and I just continue to be blown away by its grandeur. Hopefully i have convinced you to go visit this place , you have to at least once in your life .
For me though seeing epic natural locations like this just gets me excited to see what else there is in the world , out side of Australia! I just want to see it all and then bring everyone along with my videos, I like to think I’m bringing the world just that little bit closer to everyone so we can all see the bigger picture .
