Federico Tesio is regarded as many as the greatest breeder in the world. He certainly contributed to the thoroughbred and without him there would have been no Ribot or Nearco or any of the horses that came after them. In Australia, we could argue that Stanley Wootton who was largely responsible for bringing Star Kingdom to Australia was among our most important. Below is a little treat showing Todman, one of the best and most influential sons of Star Kingdom.

The list is seemingly endless, but our question is "Who is the greatest breeder in Australian thoroughbred history?" Comments are welcome, and we might have a surprise in the May edition on this topic.
