We chose to interview these guys as a couple, because as you will hear, Jim and Lynda are quite the team. Both very accomplished riders and horse trainers, but with way more to their story as Dan finds out.

Dear YOU and ME in 2023,

This year we’ll gather OUR people,
those who believe in what we’ll create
They’ll go with us on the journey forward,
and what we’re building is worth the wait

We’ll allow all who share this passion to have a voice and be heard too..
We’ll share our lessons and the struggles,
that we’ve learned in 2022

This year we’re making room for our biggest year yet
We’ve been dreaming, planning & creating,
our path is all but set

There’ll be more youth, old hats
and every character in between
Our tribe will expand, working together,
like a well-oiled machine

Our arenas & stands will be filled with travellers near & far
“Introduce yourselves” we’ll say,
"Tell them who you are!"

We're heading out now, so saddle up for what this year will be

▪️ Using the Mechanical Cow as a tool to train a horse on many levels followed by working your horse on live cattle

▪️ Strategies to help with competition nerves and anxiety

▪️ "Picking Cattle" how to approach cattle and controlling a cow

I have always been greatly taken by the forces around those who live & breathe their craft, especially in the equine industry.

If there was ever a horsey dream sold - I brought it…. lock, stock & barrel.
AND I don’t believe I’m the only one.

The word 𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘶𝘳 means “lover”. An 𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘶𝘳 is motivated by 𝘢𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. He/she loves the discipline to which is aspired to.

When anyone decides to make the leap from amateur to professional, they endure the risk of loosing their original love. Their craft now requiring a greater degree of discipline, replacing the initial infatuation with reality rather than “the dream”.

I read today: “the mark of a good professional is to 𝘯𝘰𝘵 leave behind the amateur spirit” but to “retain it even in the sobriety of a profession”. ~ Drew Miller

Sure, sitting on the outside of the fence & reading the signs is still worth the investment but it’s time for us to participate.
