The nomination for this week is the Victorian Minister for Environment, Steve Dimopoulos MP, for the appalling decision by the Victorian Government and Jacinta Allan to completely ignore the key recommendations from the Victorian Parliamentary inquiry on Native Bird Hunting, which was to ban recreational duck and quail shooting.
What are your thoughts, should it be banned in Victoria as WA and NSW did years ago? Or are the new measures put in place sufficient?

Rumor has it the reason for the radio silence from Don Elgin and Justin Tippett lately is because they had been banished to the North Pole to help Santa as punishment for __________. (Another rumor is Don has a great prize for the best answer).
Now that Christmas is out of the way, perhaps a return is not that far away 🤷♂️

In this weeks 'Di$#head of the Week' segment, JT takes aim at Melbourne Mayor Sally Cap and The Hon. Ben Carroll, Minister for Roads, for continuing to allow horses to be pulling carriages through the streets of Melbourne after another horse sadly lost its life during the week. In some related good news though, we put the call out to find our Heroes of the Week - a couple of legendary Aussies who saved some horses and cattle from the recent NSW floods.
