In November 1996 a light aircraft went down off the coast near Cairns due to faulty engines. 5 people were on board including one passenger named Colin Brooks. In the next episode (not too far away) we hear from Colin Brooks and how he kept his wits together in the worst of situations to achieve his one goal… keeping everyone alive. This truly is an incredible story of survival and one that shouldn’t be missed. Stay tuned.

Ok lets get this podcast started. Welcome to epsiode 1 of the The Brave. This is a story about the Thredbo Landslide told by Chris Wilkinson. His recall of events on that day is quite detailed and incredible to listen. Thank you to Chris for sharing and I look forward to releasing more of these episodes in the new year. Chris Wilkinson was heavily involved in the rescue efforts of the tragic Thredbo landslide in 1997. Chris is an incredible human being and will get the ball rolling in our first episode of The Brave. Chris’s perspective and recall of the nights and days spent searching for survivors, is not one that should be missed. Stay tuned.
