The new single from Heathcote Blue’s 'While Away' (due in 2024) is ‘Maybe So, Maybe No (feat. Elena Dakota).’ and it's out now. The tune is a really nice partner to ‘Eddy,’ released in August, which went for space and duration where ‘Maybe So…’ is upbeat and driving, and offers the listener a sing-a-long chorus. There’s something special about this bands mix the dark and deep with the light and humorous that generates a very humanlike quality in all their music.

After an explosion of releases in January Great Statue is back with 'Mouth Interior Downwards' which foregrounds the studio explorations of the Statue. As always the vocal performance and lyricism shine, but even more so than the previous releases the listener is engaged by striking timbral changes and off kilter beats.

New single from Gap Year is out now on Blue Grey Pink. "'Old Clothes' features Lee Napper’s melancholic melody floating over a rock solid rhythm section performance from Maddy Blue and Ben Santostefano, with lush guitars and synthesiser painting the harmonic backdrop. It's totally worth repeat listening.

The debut release from Great Statue is out now on Rockton Records. Purposeful Lady is the tip of an iceberg of other-worldly weird-pop. It is the first of four EPs containing music that you can move too, wonder too, think too, and perhaps giggle too. Almost entirely extracted from a Yamaha PSR7 keyboard the EP is a truely unique combination of sound, lyric, and rhythm.

Happy Holidays and all the best for the New Year! Thanks to everyone who sent music to the studio, there was not a dull moment for sure.
In general it was a very musical year and I've written a little about my highlights from a mastering, listening, collaborating, and performing perspective on the website.

Fantastic pair of tunes from Brix (aka Jeremy Segal) in the bedroom rock/indie vein. I love the condensed, swift approach to writing and production that Jeremy employed on this project. It really seals in the freshness. I had a great time mastering them. Only on Bandcamp, check it out.
