Welcome Christie!

Christie Dawes is about as tough as they come!

After the sudden loss of her father at the age of nine, and a car accident at the age of ten which left her a paraplegic, Chrisite went on to pursue an inspiring career as a Paralympian.

Competing internationally in the sport of Wheelchair Track & Road racing for three decades, and with seven Paralympic Games under her belt, Christie has rightfully earned a reputation as being one of the fiercest competitors in the game.

Christie’s journey to become an elite athlete has taught her vital lessons in preparation, self-discipline, resilience and teamwork, which have transferred into all areas of her life. She prides herself on being a positive role model, particularly for people living with disability.

Her lived experience has provided her with a valuable platform to connect and engage with the community, education, health and corporate sectors.

Luke is a fourth generation grazier from North West Queensland. In 2022, Luke founded SkyKelpie to complete groundbreaking drone mustering trials with support from Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) and the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (QDAF), which validated the numerous benefits of drone use in mustering.

We love nothing more than seeing talent share their stories and experiences with regional communities. Last month Holly was a guest speaker at the Central West Entrepreneurs Summit presented by . The summit provided the perfect opportunity to break away from the pack, create growth in business, network with driven professionals and build future opportunities.

Holly started her own small business from home and has since inspired other women through regional workshops. “I was honoured to speak at the summit, and have the opportunity to also listen to other inspiring speakers. The attendees were really involved and engaged which was great to see. The diversity of the group was fantasitc and I was thrilled to see a younger demographic attend - they are our future.”

Exciting news as we onboard Jaimee Rogers to Talent Stable!

Jaimee Rogers is a former professional athlete and successful media professional with a passion for sports and building a mentally fit future. Hailing from the big city, she’s facilitated many workshops in regional Australia as an ambassador for the Gotcha4Life charity. As a mother of two young boys, this charity is close to her heart.

Across Jaimee’s decade in media, she has successfully worked across both TV and radio. On Sky Racing, Jaimee hosted shows such as On the Lounge with Jaimee Rogers, Soccer Insiders, and NRL Insiders, as well as Sky Racing News. Let us introduce to you the wonderful Jemma Tribe. Jemma is the President of the Shoalhaven Business Chamber/Women in Business on the NSW South Coast. She is an award-winning Social Entrepreneur, operating the Nowra Community Food Store - a low cost grocery store for people doing it tough.

Starting the year strong with another wonderful addition to our Talent Stable crew! Welcome Cassandra Hooke, the creative gardening consultant and content creator behind Outback Gardens.

Cass lives on a sheep station on the Hay Plains with her farmer husband and two young children. She's always had a keen interest in plants, gardening and the environment and has completed a Bachelor of Biological Sciences majoring in Botany at La Trobe University.

Outback Gardens was started when Cass documented her journey of creating her dream garden in the Riverina from a blank canvas. Her audience trusts her expert advice and is inspired by her creativity.
