Welcome to the stable Jade Miles 🌱

With the bush in her bones and a vision for a regenerative future, Jade Miles is a force in the local food movement. From farming to storytelling, Jade connects communities, inspires change, and invites us to slow down, observe, and honor the land and those who nurture it. 🍂💚

To be sure she is putting her efforts where her mouth is, Jade is a regenerative heritage fruit farmer. Together with her husband and three kids, Jade runs Black Barn Farm, a biodiverse orchard, nursery and workshop space in Northeast Victoria. She's an active presence in the regenerative space, hosting school programs, permaculture and homesteading workshops while sitting on multiple boards all in the name of reconnecting people to nature, food and a simpler existence.

In 2020 she launched her podcast Futuresteading which now has 150 episodes spanning 10 seasons. She has also released a book with the same name and her second book 'huddle' is due to launch in April 2025.

Karen is the co-founder of Four Daughters Beef and is a passionate advocate for rural and regional Australia. She sees the need to connect city and country with food and fibre origins, especially through social media and community engagement.

With her husband Dan and their four daughters, the family has exported beef under their Four Daughters brand to China. They have had to navigate processing, the export supply chain and international logistics. Looking forward they look to grow their business for the next generation, holding sustainability at focus.

Christie Dawes is about as tough as they come!

After the sudden loss of her father at the age of nine, and a car accident at the age of ten which left her a paraplegic, Chrisite went on to pursue an inspiring career as a Paralympian.

Competing internationally in the sport of Wheelchair Track & Road racing for three decades, and with seven Paralympic Games under her belt, Christie has rightfully earned a reputation as being one of the fiercest competitors in the game.

Christie’s journey to become an elite athlete has taught her vital lessons in preparation, self-discipline, resilience and teamwork, which have transferred into all areas of her life. She prides herself on being a positive role model, particularly for people living with disability.

Her lived experience has provided her with a valuable platform to connect and engage with the community, education, health and corporate sectors.

We love nothing more than seeing talent share their stories and experiences with regional communities. Last month Holly was a guest speaker at the Central West Entrepreneurs Summit presented by . The summit provided the perfect opportunity to break away from the pack, create growth in business, network with driven professionals and build future opportunities.

Holly started her own small business from home and has since inspired other women through regional workshops. “I was honoured to speak at the summit, and have the opportunity to also listen to other inspiring speakers.
