Congratulations to SA writer/directors Derik Lynch and Matthew Thorne who picked up the Best Rainbow Short Award at Flickerfest last week for Marungka Tjalatjunu (Dipped in Black). Produced by Other Pictures and Switch Productions, the SA made and SAFC supported film has previously been awarded at Berlinale - Berlin International Film Festival 2023, Sydney Film Festival 2023, Melbourne International Film Festival 2023 and the 2023 SA Ruby Awards. We are so proud to be premiering our film at Berlinale in Berlinale Shorts . They selected 20 films for competition from 15 different countries - and our beautiful little short found its way in. Thank you so much South Australian Film Corporation & Adelaide Film Festival and thanks Nic Godoy at Panavision for all your incredible support.
