Neil Marshall, guitarist and curator of all things synth and orchestral for alternative act 'Midwinter' is on a quest, charged with aspirations to perform organically as an acoustic artist. But stepping out solo and exposed, away from the textural elements that he is accustomed to weaving through passages of heavy rock, is going to take some discipline. Easily distracted, ongoing opportunities to

create 80's styled, futuristic, cyberpunk and synth-pop video game scores, have nurtured his passion to produce fun, melodic electronica. We are each the sum total of our experience, and the road to the simplicity of an acoustic performance will not be without twists and turns, impacted by all that has come before.

Can't believe it's nearly been a month since the South Coast Songwriter's Collective played at Bena Community Hall - looks like some video has started to emerge - thanks again to the people of Bena and surrounds for welcoming us, your enthusiasm and especially for your awesome dance moves! This was the first time EVER this song was performed live, can't wait to do it again!
