🤩🤩 Tonight is the night where Tenterfield comes alive with Christmas fun festivities in Bruxner Park and Rouse Street - it’s the Tenterfield Lions Club & Rotary Tenterfield annual Christmas festival!
Mike and I will both be there, and there will be food, fun and entertainment - It’s going to be a super fun Christmas Party 🥳
The shops will be doing late night trade also….. it’s going to be huge!

We ran a competition on the radio recently, and today took 5 lucky listeners - and their plus one’s - and had a little Christmas party this Afternoon at Courtyard Cafe Tenterfield and had the BEST time!!
We ate - we talked - we laughed - and played games
The funniest game was “put the tape over Kimbos mouth” - Mikes warped version of pin the tail on the donkey 🤣🤣
Well - Mike won the game - check it out!!
Everyone left with a Christmas Present and a smile

💜 There were - and still - is an incredible army of volunteers in this town during and after this catastrophic event, doing things such as helping evacuees, feeding firies, helping their friends and neighbours.
Throughout this - we’ve all held out a hand to someone - and as a town, we remain strong and able to achieve so much when we stick together.

This Morning our Tenterfield Mayor Bronwyn Petrie and Janelle Saffin - Member for Lismore popped in to the TEN FM studio for a chat about fire updates and let the listeners know all of the assistance that is already on offer for those who have been impacted by the bushfires, and the further assistance that is coming up on offer also in the coming days.
The ladies delivered a lot of information - and want you lovely listeners to know that if you missed any of the information - or you have any questions - please reach out and we can certainly try and assist you with your questions.

❌THE FIRIES SPOKESPEOPLE SAY THAT ITS BEST TO AVOID GO FUND ME PAGES TO DONATE TO FIRIES - PLEASE DONATE DIRECTLY TO NSW FIRE BRIGADE ON THEIR WEBSITE
( GO FUND ME for helping individuals is a different thing )
✅ Raffles and Auctions - are a different story - and as long as you know the organisation running them IN PERSON - these should be mostly ok..

Rural Fire Brigades are often more than just an emergency service. They can also be a vital community service, provide a community meeting point or offer assistance with non-emergency roles.
🎃👻It’s Halloween time at Mikey Mike’s house🎃👻
I went over and checked out what the boys were up to for the Halloween preparations - and this what I saw - the boys prepping bags of candy - and of course - Mikey being a clown 🤪🤣
🎃 So head on round to Mikey’s place tomorrow from around 4.30 in the arvo - and he will load you up with candy!!!
🎓 This Morning I was joined in the studio by Tenterfield High School Captains Jackson and Bridie!
They chatted to us about all things Tenterfield High and they both did a terrific job!
I had a number of calls in to the studio after they finished on air - and the listeners who called in said that they both did an awesome job and they really enjoyed the updates from the High School!
Principal Stephanie Scott was also there to hear what these amazing students had to say - and she was very proud of the great job they did.
Well done Jackson and Bridie - we look forward to having you back in the studio again very soon!

After I finished on air today - I headed over to the TenterLIFE Mental Health Month Garden Party that was held in Alma and John’s glorious garden!
Thank you to Stuart O’Neil and Barbara Smith for speaking about their personal mental health challenges.
Stuart has written a book “Just One Reason” and Barbara a book of poetry “Identity of the Mind”.
Thank you to CWA Tenterfield Evening Branch for catering with yummy boxed lunches and FRRR for funding the event.
It was a terrific Afternoon and I really enjoyed the time that I got to spend with everyone there
Walk 'n' Talk For Life Tenterfield and Tenterlife Su***de Prevention Network are a great bunch of people - and I am so grateful to these wonderful folk for all that they do to get community together to make the vulnerable feel so supported in a caring and kind environment.

🛹 The opening of the Tenterfield Youth Precinct was yesterday - and what an awesome Arvo it was! . For the kiddies, youth and adults alike - we all had a blast! . I was terrible at the basketball hoops (and the kids told me so 🤣🤣🤣) But what a wonderfully inclusive environment it was. . Thanks to all that organised this day - it was terrific!. . My interview with Batesy set my messages and the TENFM phones alight in the studio tonight - so I better post it so we have it forever 😎🤘🏻
