'Boy Swallows Universe' has had a half-page review in Liberation, one of France's largest daily national newspapers. This shows the talent of local cast and crew and that if there is investment in quality Australian content, it can be globally successful. That's why we need mandated local content requirements for streaming services like Netflix so more shows like 'Boy Swallows Universe' get made.

Right now, less than 5% of content on streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime is Australian made despite the huge revenues they generate from Australian subscribers. Please take action by sending an email to your local MP today.

Too many talented, skilled and experienced workers have left the arts and entertainment sector over the last few years, as it becomes more and more difficult to find opportunities to work and make basic income.

This needs to change. That’s why our campaign is calling for our next federal government to work with us, the union of Australia’s creative workforces, to develop and implement a comprehensive cultural agenda.

What kind of arts and cultural landscape do you want your children to inherit? Let us know by filling out this survey 👉 https://buff.ly/3qgOB23

Image description: A group of children, in costume, are dancing on stage. The quote reads: “Creative people are leaving the sector as it's becoming too difficult to earn even the meagre money we’re used to. We're not only in it for the money but without basic income it is difficult to bring up a child! I’m also concerned that if my children decide to pursue something creative in the future, there will be no opportunities left for them to thrive and develop.” And the logo “Let’s Get Creative.”
