Philip Walker is Chairman of the Sago Group, Chairman of the Origin Music Group; a non-executive Director the Australasian Music Publishers’ Association Limited (AMPAL), the Australasian Mechanical Copyright Owners’ Society Limited (AMCOS) and the Australasian Performing Right Association (APRA). He has a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Technology, is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a Member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Institute of Management. He has previously served as a Director and Honorary Treasurer of the Craft Council of New South Wales and was in practice as a Chartered Accountant, Auditor and Tax Agent from 1980 – 1998. Philip is an enthusiastic supporter of charity and non-profit organizations. Philip is known as a music industry accounting specialist and has conducted audits and valuations in the music industry over the last 30 years. Philip Mortlock

Joined Philip Walker in 1993 after working at Warner Music (WEA) for close to 17 years, mainly working with the Australian artists in A & R and marketing. Philip has held industry positions as a director on the board of ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association), AIR (Australian Independent Recording Association), a member of the Music Council of Australia and the National Film and Sound Archives. This is Phil Slater’s fourth album as a leader and presents a collection of new work for the jazz quintet featuring Matt Keegan, Matt McMahon, Brett Hirst, and Simon Barker. The music extends upon some musical ideas from his previous 2019 recording “The Dark Pattern” and continues with his interest in combining the sound palette and texture of the jazz quintet instrumentation with minimalist compositional devices.

The Adelaide Festival program has been announced including two special shows from BAND OF BROTHERS!
Band of Brothers unites the talents of Slava and Leonard Grigoryan Grigoryan Brothers, two of Australia’s finest classical guitarists, with those of oud master Joseph Tawadros AM - Oud Virtuoso and Composer and percussionist James Tawadros, who specialises in the riq, an Egyptian tambourine.

✨ Ruby is emerging as a unique and talented artist with a big future. Refusing to be pigeonholed to one musical genre. Recorded live as a jazz quartet, "Love Again" explores the complex emotions of intimacy and past experiences.

Working with esteemed Central Coast jazz musicians Brendan Berlach (saxophone), Fiona Lugg (double bass), Toby Hall (drums) and Producer Jack Nigro, Ruby pushed the boundaries on this ambitious project by recording it live!

“Love Again” is the third single from Ruby’s upcoming album “Oh So Tender” due for release in November.

Mortlock’s next single “Hold My Hand” is out this Friday 18th March, the first release of many new singles featuring vocals by Tasmanian-based singer / songwriter PARKER - and Mortlock’s first official release to feature vocals. “(Tash) Parker and I have been busy over the past few years experimenting with various styles and have come up with a unique string of collaborative works.
