Hey farmers!

The migration phase from Sunflower Farmers (prototype) has officially ended. We are so grateful that so many of you have stayed with the community - Over 80,000 farms were migrated.

To ensure every one could migrate we:

1. Gave an additional 16 hours to migrate
2. Turned off Discord verification for the past 24 hours

A few people noticed the lack of Discord verification when creating a farm. For those that minted multiple farms, the ban hammer is coming your way.

For those that could not connect to the Blockchain or faced strange issues when migrating, your reports have been recorded. We have to shift our focus to game development and the SFL withdrawal for the time being. Thanks for your patience.

We are just finishing up the migrations. There are quite a few people who are struggling and we are going to ensure we spend some time to get all their assets moved into version 2.

I'm sure you can appreciate that we don't want to leave genuine players behind when we close the migration so for the rest of the day this is the teams focus and we will answer all tickets in #｜❓・migration as long as they are ONLY related to genuine migration problems. Please don't open a new ticket. We are just finishing the ones we have open. There were hundreds.

With this said .... We are going to wait a little longer to release the NFT that was due to drop today. The team are about to deploy new smart contracts and we want to ensure the migration is complete before moving forward. This is to ensure maximum security and also to protect the community from anyone abusing the mint.

Everyone appreciates the patience as we clean up these loose ends. We are talking days and weeks before we complete the foundations.

⚠️ IMPORTANT ⚠️

Sorry to share that the Rarible launch has been delayed. This is out of our hands.

Rarible have identified some bugs with their Polygon integration and it's caused UI errors.

Their website is showing wrong price and quantity for items and it's confusing as well as misleading so we have removed the link for now and will update you nearer the time.

It looks like they will launch Polygon Takeover Week on the 30th May if all goes well.

MULTI ACCOUNTING

There has been a lot of conversation around this topic and this update will cover our official rules as we move forward.

1 Account per person

There will be zero multi accounting allowed.

- A family can play on the same IP at the same time
- A family can also play on the same device (but not at the same time)
(A family is a considerate number of people, please use fair judgement )

Any attempt to use scripts, bots or automation to cheat the game is a breech of the terms and conditions.

- A BOT is NOT a family member !

People CAN own multiple farms (purchased from 3rd party marketplace) but can only mint and use ONE from the official website. Any additional farms purchased are NOT to be used in game as this will be considered multi-accounting and a breach of the terms and conditions.

Multi Accounting also consists of using more than one Metamask wallet or having more than one discord login to access the game.

Users from version 1 that had multiple farms will have 1 full week from Wednesday to sync their old farms to their main account.

Our Migration tools will convert the assets to your main farm. There will be some recovery for farm buildings that were upgraded. All crops and resources will be converted.

After the migration the old farms will have no value.

The migration of multiple farms WILL consider the snapshot and only allow resources that were available at that time.

May 4th will be the cutoff for this migration.

We will release this migration functionality over the coming days.

The recovery of for Farm levels on version 1 will be as follows:

Level 2 = 0.5 SFF
Level 3 = 5 SFF
Level 4 = 25 SFF
Level 5 = Sunflower Tombstone

All NFTs + resources on the SFF farm will be sent across.

There is No limit on amount of farms that you can migrate BUT you can only have ONE SFL Farm. If you minted a farm in SFL already - you can migrate version 1 farms into this. If you are not yet playing Version 2 - you can choose a farm from Version 1 to become your main and then migrate your other farms into this one.

You MUST sign a transaction using that account that contains the old farm - the resources must be in that account when you do this (from within the snapshot)

As we get ready for the week ahead I want to focus on a few things so you are all understanding. (Consider this a mini timeline without set dates for todays announcement)

Our immediate focus over the next few weeks:

1, Support
Please remember this is Open BETA. There will be challenges, there will be bugs and things will break. The team will fix them. We ask for your cooperation to help make this experience positive. Try not to submit support tickets unless absolutely necessary as this slows us down. Check here, whitepaper, knowledge base first for most common answers.

2, In-Game Trading
We are aware about the need for in game trading - it's being built as we speak. There are also partnerships being finalized. Please be patient. We don't recommend P2P trading at this time.

3, Scams
To re-iterate point 2 and to expand on it. Protect yourselves at all times and beware of SCAMS ! - The team will NEVER DM you first.

4, Mutant Crops
We will cover Mutant Crops in the near future as I know many want to know. For now please just wait - there are other things which are more important to sort out but we are aware and will provide you will all the answers you need.

5, Communication
Many expect polished dev reports and team communication but again please remember we are not officially live yet - this is still Beta, all that good stuff will come - we do our best to communicate as we grow out the foundations here so the core structure is solid. We need time to complete this. Please ensure your expectation is managed accordingly.

6, Multi Accounts

Just a reminder, we do not recommend trading on secondary marketplaces right now other than Open Sea.

There are numerous reports of players using other marketplaces and having issues when trying to import their assets into the game.

We are in the process of setting up the collection properly in Rarible. We will let you know once that is ready.

We are also in the process of getting the blue verified tick on Open Sea. In the meantime, always double check which collection you are looking at - https://opensea.io/collection/sunflower-land-collectibles
