Wow, mixed feelings after reading this post, throwing back to our last Escape Two Campout, our best one yet at Manar Off Road Park in November 2022.

We created the event on the back of Covid, to get outdoor enthusiasts back to Queensland 4WD parks like the facilities at Manar.

Thankyou and congratulations to the entire wonderful team of Manar and we will definitely be attending the last hurrah in October, see you then! 🎉

What an epic long weekend trip this ended up being!! 😬

With some relaxing camping up Inskip Point, Ellie and Grant launched the boat for some fishing along side Fraser Island before noticing something in the middle of the mud flats in the distance

Riley and Westy launched into action, making the discovery of a massive Green Sea Turtle stranded and exhausted 🐢

Grant joined Riley and Westy, and after multiple LONG gruelling hours. The boys attempted to get it back into the water 😳

Check it out to see what happened - definitely a well earned Tilly after that…. 🍻

It’s simple… just follow the rules and be safe!

Great move from Queensland National Parks 👏

Did you know our Rangers enforce road rules on our parks, forests and beaches? 🚨
To bring us up to speed, we’re even updating our fines issued by Rangers to be in line with the same offence, if you'd been fined by Queensland police.

These changes are aimed at improving driver behaviour and the safety of visitors and wildlife in our protected areas with penalties for dangerous driving behaviours increasing from Friday, September 15.

Ranger Mike said these fines might hurt, but they’re a lot less painful than a vehicle rollover or worse.

‘Obey all signage including the speed limit, wear your seatbelt, never drink and drive and never let anyone without a licence behind the wheel – it’s that simple,’ he said.

Rangers carry out regular patrols of national parks, State forests and recreation areas and work in partnership with the Queensland Police Service to enforce the road rules which apply to these areas.

We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience on our beautiful parks, and it’s up to all drivers to do the right thing to make this happen.

Driver safety is everyone's responsibility, but it starts with you.
