For the price of just one ticket to the Skinny Duck, FareShare can
cook 300 meals for the hungry and homeless. We’re proud that ALL
proceeds from the Skinny Duck dinner will help us support those

Skinny Duck 2016 is set to be a spectacular evening. Celebrity chefs gracing our tables, with a 5 course dinner to be served and donations received from various supporters. This year .kelly will donate a piece to be auctioned to the highest bidder. Last year saw a sensational bid for her earrings, to which the initial winner, resubmitted them to be auctioned again, with all funds raised going to FareShare

Skinny Duck preparations have began and we've got donations pouring in already to raise monies for FareShare

The featured sculptor for Dromana Art Show happening this coming weekend, will kindly be donating one of his amazing cuttlebone carvings.

Christian Gundesen Oceanart captures our imaginations as he recreates ocean scenes using hand files and yes...cuttlebone

What an amazing achievement!
3 HUGE CHEERS FOR FareShare

We’ve done it! With the help of our wonderful volunteers, food donors and supporters, FareShare has just cooked our MILLIONTH meal of the year. Our recipe: a blend of 84,000 volunteer hours and 518,010 kg of donated food. We think that’s worth celebrating. A big shout out to all of our wonderful volunteers and a special ‘thank you’ to Woolworths for donating half the surplus food required to reach this special milestone, including around 8000 kg of meat a month.
Well done to Patricia, who has been volunteering with FareShare for more than 6 years, for serving up the millionth meal.

Business's like A Mini Kitchen in Rye know the benefits of having their own hive, along with Skinny Duck designer Josie Jones of Share The Word Design Studio also has her own productive hive thanks to Save the bees rescue of swarms across the Peninsula.

Around Australia many families, couples and individuals go hungry, despite a huge amount of good food going to waste.
We have visualised a world without bees and it pains us to think of those already going hungry.

Solving these two problems is the aim of the Feed Melbourne Appeal, a campaign that thousands of Victorians support — Research shows more than 700,000 tonnes of food ends up in Victorian landfills every year while thousands of people struggle to put meals on the table each day.
