One of the many projects we’ve loved working on this year has been @nntuniforms #daretowear campaign.
For this instalment the chance to profile Olympian and Emergency Nurse @emmajeffcoat
Her training schedule is epic, with a dawn start at Narrabeen Lagoon, working through the day towards her performance goal. This mindset has worked along side her career as a health professional, delivering care to those who need it most.

As part of a busy day filming content across various locations for the @symal.au team we dropped in on School-based apprentice Ben to highlight his progress while he’s on the job site! He’s loving being part of the @unyte.au team and is creating a great future in the industry.
Recent video work for @thefuelagency and Agriculture Victoria. The campaign was both photo and video based, and was based on increasing knowledge on what you need to do to create a bio secure farming location. A busy day creating content across social and BVOD including this 30 second awareness TVC.

This NAIDOC Week, we came together to celebrate and share Aboriginal culture as one, holding our annual Kup Murri on the lands of the Wadawurrung people.
Over 200 people gathered, giving us the opportunity to share our cultural with our non-Indigenous colleagues and friends as part of Symal Group’s broader Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) commitment to driving change.

We are lucky enough to work on some amazing projects and meet some awesome families, and the chance to help tell Marley’s and his family’s journey as they navigate the health complications of his life.

How the year has flown by!
Amongst all the great projects we help create, sometimes we edit television programs! We love tv, as it’s where we started in this industry many years ago.
This is one of our favourite recent segments from @mxtvshow_aus when we tagged along with @danielsanders_11 as he conquered another Hattah desert race. We love the challenge of handling the total post production process for these shows from edit to full technical master delivery to the 7 network broadcast operation.

As we continue taking steps towards reconciling within our communities, our Victorian team were guided by Hayden Heta, Managing Director of Wamarra, on a cultural tour to various sites of Indigenous significance in and around Melbourne.
With the theme of Now More Than Ever, it is important for our staff to continue to learn, bringing together people from all walks of life to better understand the culture of our First Nations people.
Symal’s Reconciliation Action Plan committee are continuously working to educate and enhance cultural awareness to create an environment that is culturally safe for our staff and their families.

Every once in a while you work on a project where you meet a family that blows you away.
As part of one of this year most important fundraising times for @veryspecialkids we had the chance to meet young Marley. There aren’t enough words to describe him, but after watching this video we hope the first one that pops to mind is simply, legend.
A huge thanks to Marnie and the rest of the tireless team who give their all for this truly amazing place for getting @blmediasolutions involved.

We were reflecting after a conversation about the success of campaigns and the reach they’ve achieved. And we discovered this piece the great team at @annissbarton and @gorilla_prod tasked us with shaping for them at the end of the UK Covid lockdowns easing has ticked over 147,000 views!
Their client, Timely, wanted to spruik the many talented small businesses and their determination to get things going and to see their customers again! We used a mix of existing and stock content to make something we feel really hit the point.
