Big News! Last night, Support Local Rockhampton was named the *Best New Business* at the Capricorn Best in Business Awards... woohoo! 🥳

Plus... Shannon's Social Media was named as a finalist in the *Best Small Business* category too! 🎉

I'm obviously very excited to have BOTH my businesses nominated as finalists in their categories, and stoked to be a winner.

The awards were held at the *all new* Keppel Bay Sailing Club and everything was so nicely put together. It was fantastic to catch up many local business owners in our region, as well as meet new ones through this event. And a special shout-out to my friend Anthea (pictured), who is always up for attending events, and as it turns out, she knows even more people than I do! 🤣

Only 6 weeks til Christmas??? OMG! I know how craaaaazy it can get in the lead up to Christmas - especially for local business owners! I was thinking of putting together a series of fast and fun videos to help you get your social media "holiday-ready" with the most important things I do for my clients as their Social Media Manager over Christmas.

[Must admit, when I saw the flower delivery truck, I did think they were at the wrong house... or possibly that I had picked up a new stalker 🤣]

If you want to give someone a minor heart attack today, tell them to check their Instagram insights 🤣🤣🤣

Apparently we've lost ALL our followers! I've even seen it with big accounts "losing" their 200,000 followers today.

In case you haven't noticed, April has been a bad month for Insta glitches. So if you have been having troubles, you aren't alone.

I hope they fix this one by 1st May though... otherwise my end-of-month client reports are going to look pretty dismal!!
