Supermarket giants ALDI has announced its much-anticipated second Rockhampton store will open on Wednesday, 29 January.
The second store is located in the Stockland Rockhampton Shopping Centre, Park Avenue.

Regional managing director for ALDI Australia Tremaine Spillane said: “It’s with great pleasure that we announce the grand opening of our new ALDI Park Avenue store."
Since opening our first Rockhampton store, ALDI Allenstown, in October 2019, and introducing our beloved middle aisle to Central Queensland, we’ve been overwhelmed by the incredible support from the local community.

The next stage of the Emu Park Centenary of Anzac Memorial Walk will be a priority for Livingstone Shire Council as the federal election approaches.

At council’s final meeting for 2024 on 17 December, councillors voted to enter a Memorandum of Understanding with Emu Park RSL Sub-Branch, the Federal Member for Capricornia and State Member for Keppel to support the progression of the project.
