Soul in the City is a Northern Soul club that has been running for 17 years with quarterly events at the Polish Club in Brisbane. We play a broad range of soul music including Northern Soul, Modern Soul and Motown from original vinyl. Anyone who has a love of Soul and dancing will enjoy our friendly atmosphere. Hey all

Apologies for the lateness of this post.

Huge thanks to all who made it out last Saturday night, that was our best stand alone night for some time. Thank you all for your support of our night, without you there is no night.
Thanks to our DJ’s Steve, Ainsley, Mark Webb and John Philips for playing the best original records you’ll hear anywhere, we are truly fortunate to have DJ’s of this calibre playing at our night and sharing their collections with us.

Thanks to our hosts at the Polish Club for all the hard work on the night and all they do behind the scenes to make our night possible, in particular Stan, Eliza, Rysiek, John and Evelyn.

Final thanks to my co-hosts Steve and Ainsley for all they do to put the night on, for their support and non-stop banter.

Our next night is December 13th, the event page and ticketing will be up in the next few days.

Thanks again all and if I don’t see you in Perth I’ll see you in December.

Anyone who knows of Wigan Casino, Blackpool Mecca, The Twisted Wheel, Allnighters, Alldayers, Weekenders will be pleasantly surprised to discover the music is still alive and that the crowd are still as enthusiastic as ever. Soul in the City is a Northern Soul club that has been running for 14 years with events every 3 months at the Polish Club in Brisbane. We play a range of soul music including Northern Soul, Modern Soul and Motown, all of our music is played from vinyl 45’s. Anyone who has a love of soul, Motown and dancing will enjoy our friendly atmosphere. All newcomers are encouraged to attend and will be made to feel welcome.
