Today I completed 'The Mission'

All Lifeguards have to do a very challenging Swim, Run, Boardswim and Run and I DID IT with a tiny bit of time to spare.

I'm super excited and very proud especially because my first attempt was a real struggle!

You may see me on Four Mile Beach in Port Douglas soon!

The Tin Shed Community Grants Program is an application process where local not-for-profit groups or organisations, who provide services to local residents, can apply for funding. The aim of the Community Grant Program is to support a range of initiatives that address identified needs that will enhance the well-being of our community.

Fantastic day with the SES in Mossman!

You don't have to have any experience so do yourself a favour and register!

The State Emergency Service - Far Northern Region holds at least 6 recruit courses per year. These recruit courses teach you the skills needed to be an SES volunteer in your community.

The recruit class is conducted face to face within the community on dates listed below with some self-paced e-learning components that will see you graduate as an operational SES member.:
